Permissions to access Snapshot
-
In order to access Snapshot and permission all of the necessary actions within the tool, the user logging in must have certain admin permissions. They are as follows:
- The Salesforce System Administrator profile has all necessary permissions to run snapshot without issue.
- If that is not possible, for whatever reason, the 'Modify All Data' system permission can be enabled on another profile and extend the necessary permissions in order to use the tool.
- If that is not possible, for whatever reason, assign the ‘Modify Metadata Through Metadata API Functions permission’ + ‘Customize Applications’ system permissions to get the necessary permissions to run the tool.
