This guide will take you through the process of installing Metazoa Snapshot, an effective tool for managing Salesforce orgs.
Step 1: Download the Application
- Navigate to the Salesforce App Exchange (https://appexchange.salesforce.com/).
- In the search bar, type 'Metazoa Snapshot'.
- From the search results, click on the 'Metazoa Snapshot' listing.
- Click the Get it Now button to begin the installation process.
Step 2: Install the Metazoa Snapshot in your Production Account
- Follow the installation prompts to install Snapshot into your production Salesforce account.
- Once installed, you'll see the Snapshot application with two main tabs.
Step 3: Install the Metazoa Player
The first tab in the Snapshot application provides instructions on how to install the Metazoa Player.
- Choose the appropriate option for your personal computer: Macintosh or Windows.
- Follow the instructions to install the Metazoa Player.
- After successful installation, the Metazoa player will run the product.
Step 4: View Past Pushes
The second tab in the Snapshot application provides information about all the pushes conducted by Snapshot.
- Here, you can review all stored information about past pushes, aiding in compliance, reference, searching, and documentation of these operations.
Step 5: Run the Installer
- Run the installer for Metazoa Snapshot.
- After successful installation, you will see the Snapshot icon on your desktop.
Step 6: License Manager and Login
The first screen that appears after running the application will be the License Manager.
- Log into the production account where you installed Snapshot.
- After successful login, the application will proceed to the next stage.
- At this point, you can also log into any of your other Salesforce orgs or developer projects as necessary.
Once you've followed these steps, you'll be ready to start using Metazoa Snapshot for your Salesforce org management.
