The Record Types Vs Picklists report will show you all of your picklist values divided up by record type. This is useful for understanding the relationship between record types and picklist values by object. This interface is available by right clicking an item on the desktop and also from the Options Menu.

The Metazoa Snapshot Record Types Vs Picklists Report is a versatile tool that presents a single view of all your picklists and their relation to different record types for any object. This report is designed to provide insights about the values of different picklists, how they're affected by different record types, and which value is set as the default for each picklist.
Features
The Report presents data in a structured way:
- Leftmost column: Displays the object or custom object selected.
- Subsequent columns: Show the available picklists for the selected object and their associated values.
- Further columns: Indicate which values are included in different record types and which is the default value.
User Guide
To utilize this report:

Select an object: Choose the object (standard or custom) you want to inspect from the left side of the interface.

Preview: The tool will immediately generate a preview of the record types versus picklists report for the selected object. This will show you the picklists that are available for the chosen object and the picklist values included in different record types.

Export: If you want to use this data outside of the Snapshot tool, you can export the generated report directly from the preview page.

Include in Display Report Tab: If you wish to include the report in the display report tab for easier access, simply check the boxes on the preview page. The report will be automatically included on the Display Report Tab.

Schedule: You can also schedule the report to be sent out automatically whenever there's a new snapshot or at any time of a recurring event.
Understanding Report Data

Picklists: This refers to the lists of values available for a particular field. In the report, these are displayed in the columns to the right of the object name.

Default Value: The default value for each picklist is highlighted with equal signs on either side (=value=). This represents the value that is automatically selected if no other value is chosen.
By analyzing this report, you can gain insights about how your Salesforce data is organized and see how different record types affect the values available in your picklists.
