The Workspace Manager allows you to create new workspaces, switch between existing workspaces, delete old ones, and export/import a workspace to/from team members. This interface is available from the Snapshot Menu.
Each time you open a workspace you will need to authenticate your Snapshot license by logging into the Salesforce Org where the license is installed.
When working in the workspace manager, you have the ability to take many actions on workspaces. You can switch between existing ones, create new ones, rename, delete or import/export workspaces.
When importing or exporting workspaces you have the option to use a local file, from your computer, or you can use shared storage if there is a central location for all of your files. This can be beneficial when working with teammates in Snapshot as you can always have access to everyones work through that shared storage.
You'll know what workspace you are in by looking in the top right of the Snapshot window.
Other Uses
Once you have your workspaces in order, you can dictate user permissions within your workspaces. Navigate to the Permissions tab to get started.
From this interface you can assign already created permissions to Licensed Users. You have the option of assigning 1 of the existing permissions or ALL existing permissions to users. When you select ALL, this works similarly to Salesforce Permissions, we will respect the highest level of permissions granted by all of them. You can also create new permissions, manage existing, rename, duplicate, or delete. If you select Create(You'll need to name this first) or Manage, you will be brought to this interface
From here you have many options. The first tab is where you will make most, if not all of the necessary changes. This is where you can choose how much of Snapshot the user will have access to. Whether they can switch between workspaces, view certain reports, or the ability to deploy metadata or migrate datasets. There's much more to it but its best to go through and get acquainted with this interface if you find it necessary to restrict anyones access to certain aspects of the tool.
